At Every Stage
A health, wellbeing, sport and activity resource to offer advice and recommendations to schools and teachers supporting students with dwarfism during their time in education, from early years to secondary education.
Dwarf Sports Association UK believe it is important for the personal development of children and young people with dwarfism to have the same opportunities as their peers whilst at school, college and university. Many individuals enjoy a wide spectrum of sports and activities during their formative years, both in and out of the educational environment. Involvement in exercise and activity from an early age will help to develop and retain a resilient habit and mind-set towards being active.
Dwarf Sports Association UK hope this guide will provide teachers and education professionals with useful advice and recommendations on how they can ensure the health and wellbeing of children and young people with dwarfism and deliver inclusive school sport and activity to those students.
