DSAuk Unveils 2025 National Calendar of Events

The Dwarf Sports Association UK (DSAuk) has released its much-anticipated 2025 National Calendar, showcasing an exciting line-up of events for athletes. With a focus on inclusivity, competition, and community, the schedule promises a year full of opportunities for participants to showcase their skills, connect with others, and celebrate achievements.

Here’s what’s in store for 2025:

National Swimming Fundraiser

  • Dates & Locations:
    • Sunday, 2nd March – Scotland
    • Saturday, 8th March – Derby
    • Other Dates & Locations: To be confirmed throughout March.

The British Long Distance Association Swimming Fundraiser kicks off in Scotland and Derby, with additional dates to be announced. 

National Badminton Tournament

  • Date: Saturday, 19th April
  • Location: Sheffield English Institute of Sport (EIS)

Athletes will gather in Sheffield for an intense day of shuttlecock action. The tournament is a staple on the DSAuk calendar, welcoming seasoned players and newcomers alike.

National Games

  • Dates: Friday, 23rd May – Monday, 26th May
  • Location: Aldersley Leisure Village

Spanning the May bank holiday weekend, the National Games is the association’s flagship event, featuring multiple sports and activities. Participants from across the UK come together to compete, celebrate, and build lifelong memories.

Camping Weekend

  • Dates: Saturday, 19th July – Sunday, 20th July
  • Location: West Lodge Farm Park

The popular Camping Weekend returns for an adventurous getaway. Packed with outdoor activities, this event is perfect for families and individuals of all ages.

National Boccia Tournament

  • Dates: Friday, 3rd October – Sunday, 5th October
  • Location: Aldersley Leisure Village

Closing out the competitive calendar, the Boccia Tournament invites athletes to demonstrate precision and strategy in this accessible and engaging sport.
