As the Paris Paralympics approach, excitement builds within the Dwarf Sports Association UK (DSAuk) community. This year, several of our dedicated athletes are on their way to Paris to compete on the world stage, showcasing their hard work, determination, and talent. These incredible athletes, many of whom began their sporting journey with DSAuk, are now representing our community with pride.
Before the competition begins, the athletes will be participating in training camps to prepare for their events.

Para Swimming

50m Freestyle Heats: Thursday, 29th August
50m Butterfly Heats: Tuesday, 3rd September
Bruce Dee & Leo McCrea
200m Individual Medley Heats: Friday, 30th September
100m Breaststroke Heats: Sunday, 1st September
 
Para Athletics
Mary Fitzgerald
Shot Put: Saturday, 7th September
Para Badminton
Rachel Choong, Jack Shephard & Krysten Coombs
Matches will take place between 29th August and 2nd September. Stay tuned for more details on their specific match times.
Para Powerlifting
Zoe Newson, Charlotte McGuinness, Olivia Broome, Mattie Harding & Mark Swan
Competitions are scheduled from 4th September to 8th September. We will provide updates on the exact dates and times soon.
 
DSAuk is incredibly proud of all the athletes who have made it to these games. They are not just competing for medals, but also representing the dwarfism community on a global platform.  Their achievements are a testament to the power of perseverance and the supportive environment that DSAuk strives to create for all its members.
