Operational Support Officer
21 hours per week
Salary offered up to £9,900pa
We are looking for a person with empathy and experience in dealing with people from diverse backgrounds who wants to join us in our national office that makes a big difference to people’s lives.
Based in Dronfield this post will be working with our team of two paid Sports and Recreation Development Officers and a dynamic team of volunteers working on behalf of a 900 strong and growing member led organisation.
You should of course possess administrative, IT, telephone and literacy skills and if you also bring New Media, funding, or event organisation experience that would be an advantage.
After a period of induction you will be expected to work on your own initiative and contribute in shaping the operations of the team.
The hours of work, to be agreed, will be 21 per week over Monday to Friday with a requirement for very occasional weekend work. Some degree of flexibility in arrangements may be required/available.
This post is funded and currently available for a fixed term of 2 years, subject to a satisfactory annual review but with the possibility of it becoming a long term role in the organisation. This position has been funded thanks to the generosity of The Peter Harrison Foundation.
