To apply for tickets you will need to register your interest online before the 9th September at www.tickets.london2012.com; Ticket applications can also be made by post; please pick up a paper application form from any Lloyds TSB branch or phone the ticket line on 0844 847 2012 (calls cost £0.05p per minute from BT Landline).
There are several sports available to dwarf athletes at the Paralympics. The selection process is by no means complete so we don’t know who will be competing yet but we hope to have athletes competing in the following events:
- Field athletics in the F40 class (shot put and discus for women and shot put, discus and javelin for men)
- Swimming in the S6 class
- Powerlifting categorised by body weight
- Table tennis although the selection process is not yet complete
If you take a look at the provisional timetable of events http://www.tickets.london2012.com/schedule.html#fullschedule you can find when these events are taking place. The confirmed timetable will be available before tickets go on sale.
A few members have asked if tickets will be available through the DSAuk. Unfortunately tickets will not be available through the association only by the public ballot which starts on the 9th August.
