DSA Patron Eleanor Simmonds alongside as DSA Junior Swimmers go for Gold
On the 26th and 27th February 7 swimmers from the Dwarf Sports Association will be competing in the EFDS Disability Sport Events swimming gala in Sheffield. The event gives young British swimmers an opportunity to compete at the highest level and is a springboard to international success.
The swimmers are junior swimmers Carys Coppen, Ella Scott, Lauran Sullivan and Megan Atkinson, all 4 of these future champions are keen swimmers who are members of their local clubs and are stepping up to compete at a national level. They are all hoping to better their personal best times and are looking to take home medals in the S6 class events.
Also competing in Sheffield this weekend are Michael Thompson and Robert Abraham, both these dedicated and talented athletes are competing in the youth age groups.
The gala includes our very own Dwarf Sports Association Patronand Paralympic Gold Medal winner Eleanor Simmonds who will be competing alongside her fellow DSA athletes.
Good Luck to all the Dwarf Sports Association Swimming team for this weekend.
